MEREDITH PYLE joins us for a one hour session on how to make a living as a session singer and crossover artist in the field of TV, movies, and musical theatre. Pyle is a full time singer, actress, and vocal coach. She has appeared on The Ellen Show, NBC’s The Real O’Neals, in commercials for McDonald’s and Apartments.com, and in Netflix’s holiday rom-com I Believe in Santa. You can hear her on the soundtracks for Frozen 2, Wish, Mulan, Doctor Strange, Minions, and many more. She is also a professional chorister with Tonality, the LA Master Chorale, and the LA Philharmonic. She is on the musical theatre faculty at the University of Southern California.

INTRODUCTION TO TEACHING MARIACHI VOICE

We will host tenor JOSAPHAT CONTRERAS for a crash course in teaching mariachi voice. Contreras is a graduate of the vocal pedagogy program at New England Conservatory, studying under Ian Howell. He is currently a Fulbright Scholar at the National Mariachi Conservatory in Mexico City.

SNATS NATIONAL VIRTUAL SUMMIT

Join us for the Student NATS (SNATS) National Virtual Summit on Sunday, March 30 at 7 p.m. ET.

This free online event, hosted on Zoom, will offer participants the chance to hear from NATS national leadership and SNATS chapter leaders on available opportunities. Students currently involved in SNATS Chapters, potential SNATS leaders, or those curious about starting a new SNATS chapter are encouraged to attend.

SNATS leaders will share their own experiences, highlighting both the achievements and challenges of managing a SNATS Chapter. The summit will also include a question-and-answer session with NATS Vice President for Outreach Nicholas Perna.

No registration is required to attend. However, SNATS Chapter interested in sharing their recent activities are encouraged to contact vpoutreach@nats.org beforehand to secure a spot in the lineup.
